In Spain, New Year’s Eve (or nochevieja, “the old night”) is celebrated by eating twelve grapes as the clock strikes midnight. (It’s probably more fun with a clock that chimes on the hour — eating twelve grapes before the chimes stop is a pretty daring feat!) However you celebrated the new year, here’s wishing you a 2008 filled with lots of daring adventures!
