18 days to go, and we are busy creating some fun downloads for our Extras section. Soon we will have a list of all the projects in the book. Anyone who especially enjoys working with her hands and making things will have a handy way to find these chapters, and to mark off the completed ones. This and more will be posted soon.

El libro AdventuradoAlso announcing: our first translation. El libro Aventurado para las Chicas! will be available for Spanish-speaking and Spanish-reading girls (or boys) this December. Twenty-six Days to Go

Posted by Miriam on October 3rd, 2007

Welcome to the countdown to the publication of The Daring Book for Girls. October 30 will be here faster than we can blink. We are already talking with reporters. To catch a glimpse of the book–with page numbers!–you can click over to this recent article by Monica Yant Kinney in the Philadelphia Inquirer. We spent a terrific day with Monica out on the patio. The idea was to build a wooden scooter together, but well, we got talking, and you know, that was the end of that.

On this blog, our not-so-secret Secret Diary, we’ll provide clues to the book; comments on the world of girls, dreams, adventure and trouble; and lots of news about the run-up to October 30th. Thanks for joining us, and welcome to the world of daring girls.
