Andrea J. Buchanan
ANDREA J. BUCHANAN is the mother of two daring girls. She is also the author of eleven books, including the The Beginning of Everything, which was a finalist for the 2019 PEN/E.O. Wilson Award for Literary Science Writing; the multimedia young adult novel GIFT, named one of Kirkus Review's best books of 2012; and Mother Shock, an essay collection on early motherhood. Miriam Peskowitz
MIRIAM PESKOWITZ has been a camp counselor, an historian, a blogger, a musician, a professor, and an entrepreneur. In addition to writing The Daring Book for Girls series, she is the author of Code Like a Girl: Rad Tech Projects and Practical Tips, The Truth Behind the Mommy Wars, and several academic books. Alexis Seabrook is an illustrator, painter, and teacher whose work encompasses everything from fine arts to commercial illustrations.
